Stephanie Sajor and Eddy M. Gana, also known as Steady, are spoken word artists and community organizers based in Los Angeles. They have been performing together since 2009, organizing in LA since 2011, married since 2015, and dog parents since 2020.

Stephanie Sajor and Eddy M. Gana are spoken word artists and community organizers based in Los Angeles. They are founders of Sunday Jump, an arts organization in Historic Filipinotown. Since meeting at UC Irvine, they have performed their poetry, facilitated workshops, and delivered keynotes on the radio, television, and stages across the nation. As organizers, they believe that the arts serve as an important avenue for personal growth, developing community activists, and ultimately, greater social change. They are also married and dog parents.

Long Bio

Stephanie Sajor and Eddy M. Gana, also known as Steady, are spoken word artists and community organizers based in Los Angeles.

They are Co-Directors of Sunday Jump, an arts organization with the longest-running Filipino-founded open mic series in Historic Filipinotown.

They met at UC Irvine and got their start organizing in the context of arts and activism as student leaders for various campus organizations such as Uncultivated Rabbits and the Asian Pacific Student Association. They have been published in TAYO Literary Magazine, the Asian American Literary Review, Salamin Magazine, and L.A. Taco. They have performed on KSCI-TV LA18, KPCC 89.3 FM/Unheard LA, at Grand Park in Downtown LA, the LA Theater Center, the MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis, Brava Theater in San Francisco, the Museum of Tolerance, and more. They served as co-curators of Literary Arts for the Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture from 2014-2017 and continue to curate the annual Katipunan Poetry Slam.

As organizers, they believe that the arts serve as an important avenue for personal growth, developing community activists, and ultimately, greater social change.

They are also married and dog parents.
